Overview

The Supreme Court Library at Cortland was created April 12, 1954 (L.1954, Ch.649) and, after moving to the third floor of the Cortland County Courthouse in May 1983, was renamed the Louis H. Folmer Law Library. The library relocated in May 2007 to its current location on the Main floor of the Courthouse, over looking Courthouse Park.

The library's print collection consists of basic New York and Federal statutory and case law as well as general practice treatises. Online legal research programs, LexisNexis and Westlaw, are available on the library’s public access computers. A coin-operated photocopier is available.
