2008 Essay Prize Winner

Elijah Fagan-Solis was awarded the David A. Garfinkel Essay Prize by Chief Judge Judith S. Kaye on Law Day 2008 at the Court of Appeals. Fagan-Solis, a Hudson Valley Community College student, was awarded a $500 prize for his essay submission: The Courts and Human Rights in New York: The Legacy of the Lemmon Slave Case.
