This court handles:
Cases involving families and children EXCEPT for divorce, separation, and annulment (handled by Supreme Court). The main types of Family Court cases are: family offense (orders of protection/domestic violence); child custody, guardianship, and visitation; child and spousal support; adoption; paternity; child neglect and abuse; juvenile delinquency; termination of parental rights; and review of foster care placement.
