The Trial support Bureau is the central hub of all Supreme Court Civil Term activity. This office provides the public with access to its various divisions and directs the flow of all civil term filings throughout its divisions. In addition, the Trial Support Bureau provides direct support to all Supreme Court civil term Justices, to the other civil term divisions, Individual Assignment parts and non-judicial employees.

The Legal Support Bureau is responsible the for review and presentation of all ex-parte, settled orders and special proceeding applications before all Civil Term Supreme Court Justices. In addition, this department oversees such functions as guardianships and incompetence matters, and civil commitment pursuant to mental health laws.
