The Kings Supreme rules have been revised. The revised rules pertain to Section F (General Foreclosure Rules), specifically:

"A discontinuance in a foreclosure action except upon court order after an RJI has been filed," has been added to #3; and

"No action may be discontinued except upon order of the court. Payment of the fee..." has been added as #19.

Effective September 4th, 2012, the Supreme/Civil Court Consumer Debt Part (SCCCDP) will commence in the Kings Civil Term. Justice Noach Dear will be the presiding justice for this part. Any actions that are assigned to this part will be heard in Justice Dear's courtroom at 141 Livingston Street, Room 1101.
