OVERVIEW
In 1995 the Appellate Division,1st Department, adopted Part 613 of the Rules of the Court establishing the Indigent Defense Organization Oversight Committee and set forth rules and standards regulating the performance and professional conduct of indigent defense organizations and the attorneys in the employ of such organizations.
