Robert R. Livingston was born at NYC in August 1718. Judge of Colonial Admiralty Court (1760-63); Puisne Judge of Colonial Supreme Court (1763). Member of Provincial Assembly (1759-68); member of Colonial Assembly for Dutchess County (1759-60) and of the twenty-ninth Assembly (1761-68). Delegate to the Stamp Act Congress, 1765; Commissioner to decide the boundary line between Massachusetts and New York, 1767 and 1773. Member of the Committee of One Hundred, 1775. Died at Clermont, 9 December 1775.
