The Seventh Judicial District recipient of the Award is Katherine Peterson-Lyle, Court Assistant in Steuben County Surrogate's Court in Bath. Katherine was selected because of her dedication to the development and implementation of the District's Surrogate's Court Case Management System, which has been named as the Universal Case Management System (UCMS) for the Surrogate's Courts in the State. Although all District Surrogate's Courts' Chief Clerks participated in development meetings and shared procedures and testing applications, Katherine volunteered to assist with the statewide roll out, which included traveling to Queens to help train staff. Her help contributed to the successful implementation of the UCMS. We congratulate Katherine on being selected for the prestigious award!
