Senior Court Officer James Stanley began in the Court System in December 1977
as a uniformed Court Officer in Brooklyn Criminal
Court. In July 1980, he was promoted to Manhattan
Supreme Court, Criminal Term. He has been with the
Court ever since - more than 27 years. Officer Stanley
is one of the finest court officers in this Court.
In every facet of the job he excels. He is a role
model to others. Officer Stanley is most deserving
of the Quality Service Award. His interaction with
members of the public, jurors, defendants, their families,
attorneys and fellow workers is always professional,
respectful and helpful.
