Frances Way began her career with the court system through
the Jobs Plus Program. Her work ethic and ability so impressed the Chief
Clerk and the Deputy Chief Clerk of the Syracuse City Court that she was
hired as a Senior Office Assistant in June of 1998. Frances is assigned
to front counter duty in the Criminal Division and serves as City Court's
"good will ambassador" to the general public. She consistently exhibits
professionalism and a genuine desire to provide quality service. Her friendly
demeanor lets people know that there is someone in City Court who genuinely
cares about satisfying their particular needs. She is also able to humanize
much of the court experience and remove some of the "trauma" associated
with coming to court. She is never too busy to help out in any way needed.
Through her hard work and dedication, Frances has accomplished a great
deal and she serves as a wonderful role model for fellow employees as
well as the public at large.
