Marie Villari has been a member of the Unified Court System since December 20, 1979. She was initially employed in a clerical capacity in the Erie Supreme/County Court Chief Clerk's office. However, she has worked in the Human Resources unit of the 8th Judicial District Administrative office since November 1982. For many years, Marie has been responsible for all Human Resource activities for the 700 non-judicial employees and 91 State paid judges in the 8th District. Since joining the Human Resources unit, she has acquired a great deal of knowledge about collective bargaining agreements, career rules, grievance and PERB decisions as well as all statutes and regulations relating to all aspects of Human Resource administration. She has long been a very valuable member of the 8th Judicial District Administrative Office.
