Thomas L. Thomas joined the Unified Court System in August 1977 as a Uniformed Court Officer in the Saratoga Family Court and has remained throughout his court career. For a number of years, he has been presenting the security portion of the employee orientation program to all new employees in the district. Tom has been a volunteer fireman with Union Fire Company in Ballston Spa for approximately 30 years and served as the Assistant Fire Chief for six years and as the Fire Chief for two years. He also plays the tuba in the fireman's marching band. Tom is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting, camping, kayaking, snowshoeing, hiking and fishing. He is also the proud father of two daughters, Alison and Amanda.
