Candidate Biography
Personal Statement |
- I was selected to preside over the problem solving Integrated Domestic Violence Court in Queens county, handles criminal, family court and matrimonial cases following the "one family-one judge" concept. I have handled over 2000 petitions and settled nearly 90% of those cases. My experience in Criminal Court and then Family Court prepared me to handle the integrated court. I am the child of Holocaust survivors and believe that history gives me much compassion, empathy and concern for families and I always try to treat all the parties that come before me in the same way that I would expect to be treated.
