• It has been my highest honor to serve as a Justice of the Supreme Court. My family has a long history of fifty years in the legal profession. Public service has truly been a calling for me. I am proud to know and to have practiced with so many different attorneys in Monroe, Cayuga, Seneca, Wayne, Ontario, Livingston, Yates and Steuben counties. Those who know me know that I have dispensed justice both fairly and in a timely manner. My extensive professional life in private practice helps me to understand the needs of lawyers and their clients, which has helped in resolving cases.
