• I did not become a lawyer until after I had retired from the New York City Fire Department having served twenty years with the department. While in the department I obtained licensure as a Registered Nurse. Both my mother and father were immigrants and from them I learned the greatness of this country. To be able to pursue one's dreams and aspirations can only be sustained by a strong judiciary which is the cornerstone of our democracy. It is for that reason that I am seeking election as a Justice of the Supreme Court.
