• Since 1993 I have been an active Family Court practitioner, having served on Law Guardian and 18-b cases, being assigned to represent children, parents and families. I am also the elected village justice in Great Neck, where I have presided over hundreds of trials. I am also a NYS Department of Education Impartial hearing officer conducting hearings on various education issues (student placement, classification, least restrictive environment and tuition reimbursement).
  
  I am also an ex-chief of my local fire department, 27 year member, NYS citation for heroism recipient and Nassau County Medal of Valor recipient.
