• I have served as a Supreme Court Justice for fourteen years and prior to that as a Judge of the Civil and Criminal Courts. A Judge must remember at all times that he or she occupies an office of public trust. Parties who appear before me have the absolute right to expect that I will patiently listen to them and that they will receive a fair hearing or trial. In applying the law fairly and impartially, I try never to lose sight of the fact that decisions I make have a significant impact on individuals and their families.
