Personal Statement |
- Minister's daughter. Worked her way through Georgetown Law. Helped Judge O'Connor draft approximately 25 published opinions, including several newsmakers--one stopping use of psychotropic drugs on foster care toddler, two ordering drug-addicted parents to stop conceiving children until they could get current children out of foster care. Two-and-a-half years in Family Treatment Court. Successfully proposed numerous Family Court administrative changes. Matrimonial and family law panelist. Former matrimonial referee, WBASNY officer, YWCA and YMCA board, Big Sister.... Currently National Womens Hall of Fame board, advisory committee for riding program for inner-city children.... Widowed, 55, daughter attends Rochester's Wilson Magnet High School.
