Please join us on June 24th as Roosevelt House welcomes urban historian Rebecca Dalzell and Ryan Ciuchta, head blender of Kings County Distillery, for a novel and far-ranging discussion on the role of the law during Brooklyn’s secret Whiskey Wars, Prohibition, and New York’s now-resurgent distillery industry. Leigh Llewelyn, co-chair of the Historical Society of the New York Courts' Young Lawyers Committee, will make introductions and discuss Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s role in Prohibition.
