Overview


We have all been moved by the devastation that Hurricane Sandy has inflicted on millions of Americans on the East Coast. Among those affected are many of the court system's judges and non-judicial employees. Some have lost their homes entirely, while many others have been dislocated and lost their personal possessions as a result of the storm.

To assist these members of our court family, the Unified Court System has established the Court Families Assistance Fund. Donations to the Assistance Fund will be used to provide UCS court personnel and their families with immediate financial assistance to help them through this difficult time. The Fund’s proceeds will be distributed for necessary expenses associated with food, clothing, shelter and medical care.

The Court Families Assistance Fund was established in partnership with the Center for Court Innovation and the Fund for the City of New York. All donations to the Assistance Fund are tax deductible. You may contribute to the Assistance Fund by donating online or by making a check payable to:
